Abstract

The article focuses on harvested crop yields in Great Britain amidst the thunderstorms and showers. The Cassia winter barley averaged 8.4 tonnes/hectare and is still the preferred second cereal on light land. The oilseed rape averaged 3.8 tonnes/hectare, with yield mapping showing more in the middle of the fields. The sugar beet is said to be the only problem crop, which will be relying on high sugar content.
