Investigating Extrema with GeoGebra.

The article presents an evaluation regarding the conception of local extremum by implementing geometry software GeoGebra in compliance with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) principle and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM) mathematical practices. It informs that the software aid in constructing a dynamic graph of any polynomial for an instance that of a cubic function in standard form.
