Abstract: The article presents a study on the reliability and sensibility of three dimensional (3D) accelerometric analysis for determining the locomotion of healthy dogs through smartphones. It mentions that the accelerometer in the mobile device is considered a convenient and accessible equipment for analyzing gait. It also notes the consistency of classic spatio-temporal parameters such as stride frequency, length and speed.
