Abstract: The article discusses suits for women introduced for the fall of 2013 by several designers including Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior that are marked by sharp tailoring, more narrow shoulders, and an overall trimmer fit. Commentary is presented on how these suits differ from those that were popular during the 1970s and 1980s.
