Abstract
- The compositions and contents of fatty acids and prostaglandins from therapeutic mud bacteria Pseudomonas sp. and Arthrobacter sp. were established. It was shown that they synthesized from 10 to 14 fatty acids as methyl esters and only an insignificant part as free fatty acids. They produced the same type of prostaglandins, also as the methyl esters, namely, prostaglandin group E methyl ester. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
