Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the chemical constituents of Matthiola (M.) longipetala. The study discovered that the essential oil of the herb comprises of 49 compounds. It showed that the aromatic compounds are the primary compounds in addition to sterols, which comprise around 11.07%, 0.66% for monoterpenes, 1.81% for sesquieterpenes and 8.94% for sulfur compounds.
