Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 71-year-old man presented with acute respiratory failure (ARF) and was admitted to the intensive care unit. The patient was suspected to have community-acquired pneumonia and was given antibiotics and nasal oxygen therapy. The patient had a hepatic abscess after surgery with transdiaphragmatic fistula and pneumonia by contiguity. A double percutaneous drainage was conducted to the patient and was extubated after 14 days.
