Jeeps will be checked for fuel-tank safety.

The article reports that automobile manufacturing firm Chrysler has agreed to a voluntary recall of 1.56 million Jeep sport utility vehicles (SUVs) as of September 2013. Several models are involved including 1993-98 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2002-2007 Jeep Libertys. It is noted that the Office of Defects Investigation of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found that the models were involved in rear-impact fire crashes.
