Abstract
- The article discusses the Internet policies of China and how they conform to the international standards as perceived by the participants in the World Summits on the Information Society (WSIS) held in Geneva in 2003 and in Tunis in 2005. The Internet structure, as well as the regulatory and censorship policies of China, is presented. The author concludes that both the U.S. and China are viewed correct by the world community in their regulation of the Internet although their approaches differ.
