"Greener" Growing Techniques.

The article discusses researches on greenhouse production being done at the Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) at the University of Arizona. Part of the research project was testing a new organic fertilizer where the center worked with WISErg, a company that supplied the food digester. The resulting fertilizer called WISErganic 3-0-1 is being tested by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). The center is also utilizing sand as natural means of filtering water.
