Abstract

Highlights: [•] Two bands (about 40kDa and 50kDa) in SDS-PAGE gels of R-PE were studied. [•] The 42.1kDa and 53.7kDa bands were complexes of αβ and βγ1, respectively. [•] Formation of the bands should be related to PUB. [•] γ subunits of R-PE play roles in structural stability of R-PE aggregates. [•] Interactions between β subunits and γ subunit may be the main forces of γ subunit to maintain the stability of R-PE. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
