The Other Israel.

The author reflects on the Israeli peace movement after the eruption of the second intifada. She says that when the new intifada started, the mainstream Israeli peace movement was deeply shaken. She claims that Peace Now went into hibernation as the violence escalated, leaving the peace movement to small progressive groups, which eventually shifted to the right. She argues that the movement failed to induce major changes because the army has changed tactics by putting more pressure on the media to give less focus on them.
