Abstract

Highlights: [•] Triterpene-enriched extract from Alismatis Rhizoma (TEAR) was prepared and analyzed. [•] A 90-day subchronic study was conducted in rats to investigate the toxicity of TEAR. [•] No obvious treatment-related toxic responses were observed after TEAR treatment. [•] The no-observed-adverse-effect level for TEAR was 1440mg/kg/d in both sexes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
