Abstract

The article presents three case studies focused on the importance of affordable green housing. Described are the buildings Colorado Court in Santa Monica, California, Melrose Commons II in South Bronx, New York and Positive MATCH (Rita Da Cascia) in San Francisco, California. All complexes are made of natural materials and use renewable energy.
