Abstract: The article presents a report from a January 18-19, 2013 conference in Trier, Germany on the reconstruction of libraries of the Middle Ages using digital methods. Topics of presentations given included the reconstruction of the library of the Imperial Abbey of Corvey, the dating of Middle Ages handwriting found in the Herzog August Bibliothek library, and data processing and metadata standards used in the digitization of archival materials.
