Abstract
- Highlights: [•] Atmospheric air plasma treatment introduced some polar groups to PBO fiber surfaces. [•] Surface morphologies of PBO fibers were etched drastically by the plasma treatment. [•] The interfacial adhesion of PBO/epoxy composites were improved significantly. [•] The plasma treatment has little effect on tensile properties of PBO multifilament. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
