This article deals with investigation of phraseological units in the Turkic and Kazakh languages. The written monuments of Altyn Orda era are investigated in total Middle Turkic sphere and phraseological units of Middle Turic languages are analyzed. These data of historical phraseological units have not been investigated yet. Phraseological units are classified and analyzed in different levels. Firstly, phraseologacal units are classified into phraseological fusions, phraseological unities and phraseological collocations. Also special system of classsication from lexical-morphological, structural-typological and semantic points of view phraseological units in the language of monuments is given in the article.
