Abstract
- The article examines the life and work of the potter and ceramic artist Tomoko Abe. Particular focus is given to the techniques she uses to create her porcelain sculptures and installations. Additional topics discussed include her 2012 exhibition "Weathering Scape," which was held at the Clay Art Center in Westchester, New York, how she is inspired by nature and her training at the Edinburgh College of Art in Great Britain.
