"Mala Conductas": Nuevos sujetos de la política popular venezolana.

This paper advances the concept of "phobic imaginaries" to address representations that respond to the social anxiety generated by new social subjects and practices in contemporary Venezuela. Conclusions are that these responses reveal an inability to assimilate and contain new elements in a social body that display their agency in contentious ways, while promoting their visibility and life interests.
