Abstract

Highlights: [•] Patients with renal cell carcinoma have more dendritic cells in the blood than controls. [•] Percentage of plasmacytoid dendritic cells in tumors is higher in the early stages. [•] Neutrophils comprise bigger portion of tumor infiltrating leukocytes in the late stages. [•] Patients with renal cancer have more regulatory T lymphocytes in the blood than healthy controls. [•] Regulatory T lymphocytes accumulate in tumor tissue regardless the disease stage. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
