Abstract

This article presents the author's views on cartoonist Jules Feiffer. According to the author, he was soft-spoken and never appeared as one who could draw cartoons related to politics and envy. The author observes that his best political and social satire would be just as efficient without the cartooning, he gets defensive again. In fact, he is a perfunctory draftsman. The Feiffer cartoon-soliloquy has a typical build and code. He is considered both unmasker and mask maker. When he is masking a liberal, he can be sniper-scope sharp. When lampooning the Right, however, he is as deaf as a drain-board.
