- The article discusses the development of teacher education standards in the U.S. by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), which include curricula for value-added teacher assessment. Topics include admissions requirements to enter teacher preparation programs, the tracking of graduates of teacher education programs regarding teacher accreditation, as well as requirements regarding student-teaching.
