Abstract

The article presents information on a study conducted to develop a densitometric method for quantitative analysis of ferulic acid in microemulsion of Angelica sinensis extract. In the study, a microemulsion system was prepared by using clove oil and oil phase, and distilled water as water phase. Microemulsion of Angelica sinensis was made by adding clove oil to Angelica sinensis extract. The study included the quantitative analysis of ferulic acid in microemulsion of Angelica sinensis extract by using chromatographic analysis. The study concluded that the densitometric method was accurate for the quantitative analysis of ferulic acid in herbal extracts and herbal products.
