Skin cancer is the most common malignant neoplasm worldwide and basal cell carcinoma is the most frequent type with a benign behavior, on the contrary, giant basal cell carcinoma is a rare subtype that is characterized by an aggressive biological behavior with involvement to deep tissue and its metastatic potential is reported to be high. This paper reports the case of a patient with myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative syndrome with an unresponsive giant basal cell carcinoma that was excised by extensive surgery with a multidisciplinary team.
