Abstract

Novel analogues of (+)-varitriol have been synthesised via Julia-Kocienski olefination from γ-D-ribonolactone. Newly prepared compounds were screened for their in vitro cytotoxicity towards certain human tumours and NCI60 cancer cell line panel. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
