Abstract
- The authors respond to a commentary made by author Mark Siderits on their article "The Way of the Dialetheist: Contradictions in Buddhism." The authors agree to the assertion of Siderits about the importance of exegesis as an element of understanding Buddhist contradiction. They discuss their observation regarding the presence of catuskoti in the dialectical landscape of Buddhism. They argue that Madhyamikas, including philosopher Nagarjuna, did not explicitly avow the truth of contradictions.
