Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 17 year old boy who had an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery when he was 12 years old. The patient had developed leg-length discrepancy (LLD) with one leg shorter than the other. The ACL reconstruction involved auto-grafts from Achilles which due to lack of post operative checks caused deformity. The patient's radiographs revealed a LLD of 4.5 centimeter. Gradual lengthening by use of epiphysiodesis was performed for 6 months.
