In Bondage to Reason: Evidentialist Atheism and Its Assumptions.

The article examines the epistemological, theological and moral/value-based assumptions underlying the various claims and arguments put forward by evidentialist atheists. It notes the high degree to which Christians share the assumptions with atheists, such as the adoption of a naive evidentialist epistemology which resembles bad fundamentalism. It also explains why evidentialist atheists fail to see the inadequacy of their epistemological and theological assumptions.
