Abstract

The article discusses a study which examines the satisfaction of family caregivers with home-based physician and nursing palliative care services, conducted in Toronto, Ontario and published in 2013. It explores the sociodemographic and service provision factors that account for variation in satisfaction at different time points over the course of the palliative care trajectory. The results indicate that caregivers are very satisfied with physicians more frequently than they did for nurses.
