Abstract
- The article discusses research which compared the number of metastatic lymph nodes (LNs) category and classic pathologic LNs category on survival in patients with completely resected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The patients included in the study underwent complete resection involving dissection of the hilar and mediastinal LNs. Findings revealed that the total number of LNs was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival and disease-free survival.
