ANTE EL BURNOUT: CUIDADOS A LOS EQUIPOS DE SALUD MENTAL.

The purpose of the present paper is to contemplate professionals when performing their work assisting people with psychological suffering, in a stage setting that includes the risk identified as burnout. With a view to continuing care, burnout of professionals and teams working in mental health services generates costs which are reflected in the quality of attention to patients, in team interaction, in the relationship of the team with others teams in their field and in the relationship between the team and the organisation it belongs to. Therefore, an adequate handling and facing of this risk requires protective measures for the individual, the team and the organisation.
