Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction: The Superficial Quad Technique.

The article focuses on the Medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction. It states that MPFL reconstruction is a procedure for patellar instability and mentions superficial quad technique which uses the superficial slip of the quadriceps tendon as the graft material. The study shows the result that no patellar complications and recurrent dislocation of pattela are found. Using graft material in superficial quad technique is better than MPFL is also concluded.
