Abstract

Comments on antimalarial cocktails which are studied in this issue of 'The Lancet.' How combining drugs has been effective in treating infections caused by mycobacteria and human immunodeficiency virus; Drug-combinations used in trials for patients with malaria in Africa, including atovaquone-proguanil, artemether-lumefantrine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine.
