Abstract: The article discusses research which was conducted to investigate differences and discriminatory power of water polo game-related statistics in men in international championships and their relationship with competition. Researchers evaluated statistics from 230 matches. They found that game-related statistics were able to discriminate athletic performance in all phases of water polo competition.
