ON DEVELOPMENT OF BACK-OFFICE SYSTEM FOR BUS TRANSPORT COMPANIES.

A back-office system in small to medium sized bus transport companies can simply be divided into two subsystems - office/business and sales subsystem. While the office subsystem takes care of the standard (legislative) rules allowing simple creation of all transport related documents, the sales subsystem can include support for different sales channels (office sales, agencies, bus/mobile sales, web shop). Our article describes a case study and implementation of model of such a back-office system in a mid-sized Croatian bus transport company.
