ERROR OF OMISSION.

The article focuses on error of omission which cost Kaye Scholar LLP 1.5 million U.S. dollars. The firm was hired to study the 2010 bankruptcy claim of investment firm GSC Group Inc. The U.S. Trustee Office found conflict of interest due to fee sharing agreement between an independent contractor Robert Manzo and GSC group. The U.S. Department of Justice was also part of this investigation and found Kay Scholar guilty because they had not disclosed their past association with Manzo.
