EtG/EtS in Urine from Sexual Assault Victims Determined by UPLC–MS-MS.

The article presents information on a study which develops an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS-MS) method for detection of ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and ethyl sulfate (EtS) in urine samples, collected from sexual assault victims . The results suggest that EtG/EtS analysis may help in determining possible alcohol involvement in such cases.
