Abstract
- The article presents the author's views on patients who are being treated for aortic stenosis. It discusses two effective treatments of aortic stenosis including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) vs surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) . It further informs about various risk algorithms present for aortic stenosis. It also focuses on the German Aortic Valve Score developed by the German Aortic Valve Registry (GARY) which help in analyzing the available inadequacies.
