The goal of this article is to question the devaluation of children's and youth's literature, which should not be evaluated by super-imposed market labels, if we are to consider its actual literary value. Lygia Bojunga's writings, well known fictions for youths and adults alike, are hereby presented to an audience which may not yet be familiar with the enchanting power of their literary universe, so as to prove their literary quality. A trilogy of her works will be analyzed, articulating both production and reception viewpoints, therefore, to bring forth a unique narrative process in which fictions are the materialized form of a passionate and captivating imagination.
