Abstract
- The article offers information on the health aspects of several polyphenol ingredients. The studies conducted on grape polyphenols suggest that they have cardioprotective effects and help in maintaining circulatory function in obese people. It informs that the polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) present in green teas boosts metabolism and fat oxidation and helps in losing weight. A study reveals that olive hydroxytyrosol is helpful in managing joint health and cardiovascular wellness.
