Examination on the status of international politics after the end of the Cold War; Discussion on the three contesting ideas being promoting by foreign policy makers in the U.S. on how to approach post-Cold War international politics; Foreign policy approach taken by President Clinton in reaction to India and Pakistan testing of nuclear weapons; Domestic political conditions in India that compelled it to develop and acquire nuclear weapons; Political circumstance that convinced Argentina, Brazil and South Africa to abandon their nuclear weapons program; Illustration on the futility of international nuclear weapons band treaty in dissuading states from acquiring or developing nuclear weapons; Defects of the foreign policy of President Clinton.
