The article discusses the archeological excavations at the Casa Bianca area of the Sibari site in Italy, with a focus on the first archeological botanical dates of the site. Topics discussed include paleobiological and paleodietary research conducted on the Sibari site to establish historical dates, research on the vegetable environment of the Sibari plains and the history of plant life in the region, and a description of the methodology used to establish the history of plant life in the region, using the Laboratorio di Restauro research laboratory of the Museo di Sibari.
