Abstract: The author looks forward to the upcoming summer of 2013 and its importance to the Association of Financial Planners (AFP). He extends gratitude to AFP volunteers who are devoting their time and talents to the financial planning and analysis certification. Several qualities for a good FP&A professional have been identified during the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roundtable held in London, England, including the ability to gather qualitative and quantitative information.
