Abstract

The article describes the case of a 67-year-old woman with symptoms such as sudden onset of difficulty expressing words, frontal headache and muscle weakness, on a background of childhood refractory asthma. She had reportedly been on maintenance therapy of prednisolone, had an episode of amaurosis fugax and treated with temporal arteritis two years prior. It explains the diagnosis of Churg-Strauss syndrome with left middle cerebral artery stroke and the treatment including antiplatelet therapy.
