The article gives a quick overview of how a large part of the materials employed in the construction of a road is recyclable, and of the available techniques. The reuse part of these materials is quantified to some extent while taking into account other parameters, and we briefly analyse the reasons why the recycling rate continues to be low with regard to its potential.
