Abstract
- The article reports on the National Gamekeepers' Organisation's (NGO) call for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in Great Britain to reverse a ban on the use of certain rat baits away from buildings. The HSE limits the use of all difenacoum and bromadiolone-based rodenticide products in and around buildings which prevented game keepers and pest controllers from deploying them in the wider countryside. HSE is concerned that residues from these products are found in non-target species.
