Dick Hebdige y el significado del estilo: una revisión crítica.

This paper tries to assess a critical review of the subculture style theory of Dick Hebdige. Firstly, it draws an overview of his theoretical background strongly linked to the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies of the University of Birmingham. Then, this paper describes the theoretical construction which explains the subculture style and its application to the study of the youth subcultures emerged in the UK after the Second World War.
