Abstract

The article examines the central banking industry. Monetary policies of the central banks in the U.S., Great Britain and Japan which are intended to increase economic development by altering expectations of inflation by businesses and consumers by targeting a specific rate of inflation and specific goals for gross domestic product and unemployment rates for their countries are discussed.
