Abstract
- The article discusses the British Hamilton soda bottle found during a salvage excavation in Morasha, Jerusalem in 1991. Topics include the Armenian monastery discovered in the excavation that dated to the Late Byzantine era, the description of the bottle, and the identification of the bottle as a Hamilton, named after William Hamilton, who patented a bottle in 1809.
