Abstract

The article presents a study to examine effect of flavanol-rich chocolate or cocoa products on blood pressure in people with or without hypertension. It states that there are some conflicting results to refuse cocoa products that may decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease. A Cochrane Systematic Review was done based on result with total of twenty trials with 856 participants, resulted that flavanol rich chocolate and cocoa products can significantly lower blood within short duration.
